Databahn Overview

Databahn IP has been proven extensively in silicon, with over 210 design-wins and 85 chips in production silicon, spanning 18 process nodes - all with 100% first-pass success.

  • Databahn PCI Express (PCIe) IP Cores:
    Databahn PCIe IP is a dual-link, dual-mode core that can be configured for PCIe Endpoint (EP), Root Complex (RC), or dual mode operation. The core provides a standard 8-lane PIPE-compatible interface to SERDES devices, with an 8 or 16-bit data width per lane, and a 64-bit data interface at the transaction layer. The silicon proven Databahn PCIe product supports the PCIe 1.1 and preliminary PCIe 2.0 specifications, and is verified using industry standard Denali PureSpec™ verification IP and Denali PureSuite™ compliance suites.

  • Databahn DDR DRAM Memory Controller IP:
    Databahn is the industry's leading DDR controller solution, providing the optimal interface between SoC designs and external DDR memory devices. Databahn is fully configurable for performance, power, gatecount, and multi-port data arbitration. Supports all commercial DRAM devices including: SDR, DDR1, DDR2, DDR3, combination DDR configurations, and Mobile SDR/DDR memory.

  • Databahn NAND Flash Memory Controller IP:
    Databahn-Flash leverages the same silicon-proven IP infrastructure as Databahn-DRAM to provide a fully programmable and configurable memory controller that supports all commercial NAND flash devices, with optimizations for hybrid devices such as OneNAND flash.
